Carli Davidson

Posted by Frank Nicholls on

No one captures the whimsy and heartfelt love of pets and their owners like Carli Davidson. Carli Davidson is an experienced animal trainer and award-winning freelance and commercial photographer who has an eye for catching each of her beloved animal subject's personalities in a humourous way that will fill your heart with joy and will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Using her real-world understanding of animal behaviour, she manages to capture these precious animals in a way that will have you staring in amazement or laughing uncontrollably (especially the “SHAKE” series). Carli's goal is to encourage her animal friends to just be themselves; making them feel comfortable enough in front of her camera, allowing her to take these...

Contemporary Hipsters by Fab Ciraolo

Posted by Frank Nicholls on

The artworks of the well-known Fab Ciraolo make it instantly apparent that the Chilean-born artist possesses an incredibly fascinating perspective on life. His work incorporate re-imagined aspects of nostalgic popular culture, including fantastical sci-fi specifications as well as stunning space-like atmospheres. Incorporating vintage cartoon figures, fantasy favourites and even edgy popular icons, Ciraolo creates powerful and captivating images that stir up fanciful sentiments of the past, whilst maintaining a single foot forward. Remodelling pop-culture goddesses such as Marilyn Monroe, Frida Del Rey, and even Princess Diana into stylish and modernised hipsters, Chilean artist Fab Ciraolo’s artwork combines natural portraiture as well as indie-rock term dropping into a string of pastel-hued compilations.

Amazing Psychedelic Patterns By Yehrin Tong

Posted by Frank Nicholls on

Yehrin Tong's amazing artwork combines two of our favourite things... Animals and patterns! Yehrin creates mind-bogglingly good hypnotic patterns rich in geometric shapes, often combined with beautiful animal illustrations. She regularly only uses duotone in her designs (which we love) and has worked with the likes of Apple, V&A Museum and the BBC. We can see why! Check out Yehrin's wonderful work below.

Cold Feet by Davide Luciano

Posted by Frank Nicholls on

This photography project by Davide Luciano has to be seen to be believed! He's taken animal feet and placed them into human scenarios, attempting to bring them to life without the use of motion. All the images can be purchased in the form of prints Animals take on human characteristics in this photo series by Davide Luciano. Davide’s goal was to achieve personification of these animals’ body parts without the use of motion. Using photography’s ability to manipulate time, Davide presents a snippet of these creature ‘active’ lives by photographing a process, thus creating the illusion of life in these lifeless animal limbs. Recreating the uncomfortable into quizzical and whimsical photos that are bold, colorful, and always comical and satirical.  The personification of...
